Internship

NRHC Ranch Life Intern
I had the oppurtunity to work as the Ranch Life intern at the National Ranching Heritage Center during the 2026 spring semester.

In this role, I managed Toddler Tuesdays. I coordinated weekly crafts for toddlers to create after story time. I instructed the toddlers on how to complete the craft and then assisted them as needed. I also oversaw the Cash Family Ranch Life Learning Center, which offers interactive educational activities based on Hank the Cowdog books. Being familiar with this area allowed me to help guide large field trips through the center.

During this semester, I also helped to compile a contact list of industry professionals interested in staying connected in ranch education.

I continued to grow my creative skills through the creation of coloring pages, fliers, and social media posts throughout the semester.
Toddler Tuesdays

Craft Curation & Teaching
Each Tuesday, toddlers come enjoy a story, a craft, and get to play in the Ranch Life Learning Center! I created and gathered all materials for the craft each week and then taught the toddlers how to make the craft on their own.

Participant Retention & List Creation
After NRHC hosted the Ranch Life Learning Summit, Addie Carlson and I reached out to the participants to collect their contact information to create a directory to share future information.

Design Work
Coloring Pages, Fliers & Social Media
NRHC hosts multiple events and visitors so they must maintain a strong brand identity across multiple platforms. I used Canva to currate different work.
